We need to act, today

Meanwhile, aviation’s climate footprint is accelerating. By 2050, the sector is projected to account for 20% of all global greenhouse emissions.

But the climate crisis cannot wait. And right now, aviation lacks a clear, credible path forward — one that protects both the planet and the people who depend on flight.

And one that acts today.

The challenge

80% of the world’s population has never set foot in an airplane. Aviation is on track to become one of the defining climate challenges of our time.

Proposed solutions are expensive and offer no real relief. SAF and tree‑planting have questionable impact, and biofuels can, in some cases, be worse for the planet than the fossil fuels they aim to replace.

Alternatives like rail offer only limited relief on a handful of high‑traffic routes. For most of the world, flying remains the only viable way to connect families, explore and access opportunities.
